An air conditioned bus of the Delhi Transportation Company caught fire which unfold and burnt down a handful of shops in southwest Delhi on Wednesday, officers stated. The fire division obtained information about the blaze in Mahipalpur spot at 2.21 pm following which nine fire tenders had been rushed to the place, they reported. The flames have been doused by 3.40 pm. The cooling approach is underway, an official explained.

According to the law enforcement, there ended up about 20 passengers in the bus when it caught hearth but they safely and securely de-boarded the automobile. Delhi Fire Support Director Atul Garg mentioned, “Initially, three fire tenders ended up rushed to the place, but the blaze was massive and it unfold across a few shops”. “Later on, extra hearth engines ended up rushed to the spot. No a person was hurt in the incident”. At minimum three retailers providing air coolers had been destroyed, officials reported.

In a statement, a Tata Motors spokesperson explained, “An unfortunate fire incident occurred on 1 of the CNG buses in New Delhi. Luckily, there ended up no accidents to any one. “Although we are unable to remark on details pending investigation, we will extend our fullest cooperation to the authorities in identifying the cause. Tata Motors is fully commited to giving protected and large good quality automobiles for public transport.”
